Moab is a city in  eastern Utah, in the western United States. Moab attracts a large number of tourists every year, mostly visitors to the nearby Arches and Canyonlands National Parks. Arches National Park isr 4 miles (6 km) north of Moab and is known for  over 2,000 natural sandstone arches, including the world-famous Delicate Arch, in addition to a variety of unique geological resources and formations. Canyon lands National Park is south of Moab and preserves a colorful landscape eroded into countless canyons, mesas, and buttes by the Colorado River, the Green River, and their respective tributaries.
