Sean specializes in nature and conservation photography. His clients include Texas Audubon and Texas Nature Conservancy and a variety of other conservation organizations. Sean’s images have been widely published and his fine art photography is featured in numerous private and commercial collections, including hospitals, banks, and convention centers, His images have been featured on the Bravo Network, his career has been profiled by Professional Photographer, Art Wolfe chose Sean as a Rising Star, and CBS News recently named Sean one of the 10 emerging artists in the Dallas area. Sean has won the Wildlife in Focus Photo Contest twice, the international World in Focus Contest and numerous other regional contests. Sean also teaches photography and leads photo tours and workshops on his own and with Ted Turner, Inc. He lives and works from a studio in Deep Ellum, near downtown Dallas, and is currently working on projects documenting the urban ecosystem of the Trinity River near his home, the endangered Blackland prairie, and Vermejo Park Ranch. Sean’s workshop style is to teach as well as help participants chase images. He learns where participants are as photographers and tries to help get them improve their techniques and “vision”. He especially tries to help participants “think” like a photographer so they are more effective in the field.
