I grew up in an outdoor family. We did a lot of camping in the mountains and deserts of Southern California. So, it’s no surprise then that when I took up dad’s camera, I would be drawn to landscape photography.
I’ve been leading photography workshops since 2008. In addition, I frequently give presentations to camera clubs, teach classes for the Joshua Tree National Park Association Desert Institute, served as a judge for the photography competition at the Orange County fair as well as winning several honors there, have been published in several magazines and even in university textbooks. I’ve sold thousands of note cards in the Joshua Tree NP visitor centers including their two top selling cards with combined sales of over 5,000 cards in these two alone. My photographic journey has led me to the point where I look for more than physical beautify in my nature photographs. Rather, I strive to create images that have an inner message. I’ve learned a lot in this phase of my growth and strongly believe that life is too short to not share what you’ve learned with others. It would be an honor if you would choose to join me on one of my workshops. |
