I am a newly retired emergency medicine physician who has been freelancing and self-publishing for many years. I am now full-time in this field and am expanding my workshop schedules. I am the sole author of Best of the Blue Ridge Parkway, Blue Ridge Parkway Celebration, Tennessee Wonder and Light, and The Greater Smoky Mountains Photographer’s Guide and have co-authored 4 other books. I conducted two workshops in 2021 after a long hiatus from photographic education. I have deep roots in large format film photography but am now using digital capture exclusively with 35mm and medium format equipment.
