I have been passionate about photography from a very young age. Before I chose it as my second career, my hobby had been taking photographs in my home town and over the years as my passion has grown as I traveled around the world and taken photographs on all seven continents. My work has been featured in gallery exhibitions, Fodor’s travel guides, and in coffee table books on travel and photography. My extensive experience as a photographer traveling to other countries has taught me that beauty is everywhere, but that many places are not protecting the environment nor the animals that live there. It is my belief that we must be responsible stewards of the earth— and all the wonders it holds. Because I have been witness to the destruction and exploitation of cultures and wildlife throughout the world, my mission to document all of the world’s wonders on camera is what drives my passion.
I am a landscape and nature photographer. I always strive to capture wildlife in their natural habitat and I feel that is what sets me apart from other photographers. For me, it is not just about the photograph, but about the experience of capturing a moment in time as well as documenting behavior and cultures that are quickly disappearing from our earth. In my travels throughout the world, I have photographed some very amazing places, people, and wildlife, as well as long forgotten cultures.
