Neil McDermott

From a young age, Neil sought out knowledge of wild things through books, television and rolling around in the dirt. He never missed a Jacque Cousteau special as a child, and he’s now sharing his enthusiasm as an Expedition Leader. Neil Holds a US Coast Guard Masters License and is Red Cross CPR and First Aid Certified. He is largely a self-taught naturalist—although he’s learned much from experts in their fields. Clients find themselves inspired by his child-like inquisitiveness. A job assignment brought him to Sitka where he immediately realized this would be his forever home.
