Mary’s nature photography has supported the work of Conservation Foundation of the Gulf Coast and Lemon Bay Conservancy. Her goal is to create appreciation for the beauty and fragility of Florida forests, coastal regions and estuaries, including the wild creatures. She lectures, writes a nature column and authors books on wild Florida. Her photographs have been exhibited in juried art galleries in several states, and published in cards, books, calendars, magazines and newspapers. She has won awards from state, national and international associations.
