I’ve been a photographer since the age of 14, and won my first award, Honorable Mention in the Kodak National Photo Contest, at 22. At the age of 50, I started traveling in earnest and fell in love with the continent of Africa. My South African partner and I started Eagle Eye Safaris a few years ago. We now lead safaris in South Africa, Uganda, Rwanda, and are expanding to other countries as we grow, including Japan in 2020.

In that time, he and I have won awards and been published by Africa Geo, Nat Geo Daily Dozen, Best of Africa, Nature’s Best and more. I’ve had gallery showings in Colorado and South Africa.

We share our love of wildlife photography with all levels, coaching people to improve their skills and get the best from their camera. We include a basic wildlife workflow Lightroom/Photoshop course on our Big 5 Safaris, too. We invite you to join us on safari!
