Based in the Seattle area, they also create images of nature and outdoor recreation while hiking, cycling, rafting and skiing in the Pacific Northwest. The Merrills thrive on helping others cultivate their creativity via private coaching, workshops and international photo tours. They are Olympus Educators and revel in helping users of any photo system to reach their creative goals. John and Lisa also use their visual storytelling skills to help non-profit organizations doing vital work, especially those improving education and tackling the climate crisis.
