Untamed Brazil: The Amazon and The Pantanal with Annalise Kaylor

September 30 - October 13

Journey to one of Earth’s wildest and most biodiverse frontiers—the Pantanal and southern Amazon. This photography workshop takes you deep into the heart of Brazil’s largest wetland and the edge of the world’s most iconic rainforest, where jaguars stalk riverbanks, giant otters patrol tannin-dark waters, and hyacinth macaws flash color through the canopy.

From the “upside-down forest” of the Cerrado to the flooded forests of the Amazon, this experience blends breathtaking landscapes with incredible photographic opportunities. You’ll encounter rare and charismatic species like maned wolves, tapirs, caimans, anacondas, and over 650 species of birds, all while learning how these ecosystems stitch together one of the most important conservation strongholds on the planet.

Explore with purpose. Photograph with impact. And leave with more than just images—leave with a deeper understanding of this irreplaceable region and your role in its future.

We’ll travel by private charter planes, boats, and open-top vehicles. Our group stays small by design—just six photographers—and the pace is tailored for photographers who want to stay out longer, see more, and come home with their best work. Single-occupancy lodging and all meals included.

$16,995 and includes: Single-occupancy lodging, all meals and non-alcoholic beverages, all scheduled in-country private charter flights during the itinerary, all ground transportation, all entrance fees and passes, gratuities for housekeeping staff, wait staff, and drivers.

Not included: Airfare to/from Brazil, visa and related fees, items of a personal nature, travel insurance (recommended), medical evacuation insurance (required), gratuities for the local naturalist guide, incidentals incurred at lodging, and any luggage fees outside of what is included in the airfare.
