Come photograph birds in the Texas Hill Country with award winning photographer Richard Day. There will be several opportunities to photograph from several blinds, including a water blind, a woodland blind and a prairie blind. The blinds are comfortable with plenty of room. There will be time for afternoon processing of photos, socializing and possible critiques. September also means the chance for hundreds of Black-chinned Hummingbirds.
Resident birds include: Rio Grande Wild Turkey, Eastern Bluebird, Lesser Goldfinch, House Finch, Eastern Phoebe, Ladder-backed Woodpecker, Golden-fronted Woodpecker, Carolina Wren, Bewick’s Wren, Canyon Wren, Northern Mockingbird, Northern Cardinal, Carolina Chickadee, Black-crested Titmouse, various Sparrows including Lark and Chipping, Inca Dove, Mourning Dove, White-winged Dove.
