Spring in Yellowstone with Jeff Parker

Yellowstone is a magical place any time of year, but spring is baby time with bear cubs and bison calves at their cutest.

Bears have just woken up from their long winter’s nap. The cubs are born during hibernation and if we’re lucky we’ll see some cubs of the year.

The iconic American bison is not generally viewed as cute.  The calves, known as “red dogs”, however are as cute as babies anywhere!
