The highlights include a boat trip to photograph courting Western and Clark’s Grebes, photography of small birds such as Lawrence’s Goldfinch, Mountain Chickadee and Pygmy Nuthatch from blinds in both the chaparral and nearby pine forests, photography of California endemics such as California Thrasher and California Gnatcatcher, photography of Wood Ducks and other waterfowl and photography of the brightly colored California Brown Pelicans and Peregrine Falcons on the coast.
