Polar Bear Photography Experience with Elaine Bish

Experience polar bears in the Polar Bear Capital of the World – Churchill, Canada! An experience like no other! Photograph polar bears at eye level on a trip that includes 5 full days and 2 half days of photography. We utilize passenger vans and SUVs to explore the countryside outside Churchill, looking for bears, snow hares, 5 types of foxes, owls, and wolverines. We stay in a wonderful rustic lodge outside of town, and bears have been known to come up to the perimeter fence!

The polar bears travel through Churchill as they wait for the Hudson Bay to freeze each winter. Once it freezes, they will go out on the ice to hunt seals all winter. But while they are waiting for the ice to freeze, cubs will play and young males will spar.

Includes: 5 full days and 2 half days of guided photography, all transportation in Churchill, lodging, continental breakfast, bear and photo guides.
