This workshop is a home run! I’m so happy to be able to host this diverse and amazing week of photography and adventure again. Over my years of traveling and photography, I have found the state of Oregon to be one of the absolute best states for diversity of subject matter and stunning landscapes. This weeklong photo tour encompasses that diversity as will stretch our skills by capturing one of the finest vineyards in Oregon in autumn hues. Bonus, we’ll complete the day with a wine tasting. While in the Willamette Valley we will also visit towering forests with waterfalls and a variety of covered bridges that make this such a special valley.
The second half of the trip takes in the famed Oregon Coastline. Our lodging will be oceanfront meaning just a short walk to Cape Kiwanda and Cannon Beach. There will also be hidden forest trails and quaint smaller beaches such as Ecola State Park and Hug Point. Since, we will be visiting in off-season, the crowds should be thinned out making for a truly relaxing and fun week of photography, dining and exploring. After our successful tours in 2021, I added an extra day to this workshop as the autumn color in the nearby Coastal Range is as good as anywhere I have traveled. I have a spot where chinook salmon are spawning upstream and leap out of the waters for us. Also an abundance of beautiful rivers, creeks and waterfalls will mean you come back a series of unforgettable images.
