Our Namibia Guided Wildlife Photo Tour explores the stark beauty of Etosha National Park and the wildlife that lives within its borders.
The park is huge so we will concentrate on the areas surrounding the three main camps which are rich in wildlife.
Unlike most African safari destinations Etosha has no permanent rivers or large bodies of water so the animals are naturally driven to the spring-fed waterholes that are dotted around the park so simply sitting and waiting patiently at one of them is often rewarding with the wildlife coming and going throughout the day.
For photography this is a perfect way to capture the images you’ve always dreamed of or perfect new techniques aided by advice from your tour leader Rob Palmer
Two of the camps we will visit have world famous floodlit waterholes where the crepuscular and nocturnal wildlife visit throughout the night keeping the keen photographer busy well after normal safari hours.
On the way back to the capital we will spend our last night at Okonjima, home of the Africat Foundation where we can track leopard in the 54,000 acre reserve with one of the lodge’s expert guides
