Mt Rainier National Park Autumn with Chuck Haney

One of the more stunning National Park locations will keep our cameras humming as huckleberry and other ground bushes turn vibrant red with enormous snow-clad Mount Rainier in the background. There are numerous waterfalls, intimate forest scenes, and small lakes that can yield fantastic reflections. We’ll be based out of the aptly named Paradise Valley.
Expect any kind of weather in autumn. The massive mountain creates its own weather system. Though most of our locations are near the roadway, please note there will be hiking on trails involved to access some of the locations. Expect 2-3 miles with elevation gain. Bring appropriate clothing and footwear (good hiking boots).
