Lake Atitlan and Antigua Guatemala with Barb Gonzalez

Lake Atitlan in Guatemala has been called one of the most beautiful lakes in the world. Spend a week in a luxury villa on the lake where we’ll venture to shoot sunrises and sunsets, from the surrounding volcanoes and explore the highland forests with a master birder to find species found nowhere else on Earth.  Then return to download photos or relax with yoga for photographers.

Along with colorful skies, flowers and birds, we will have local guides that take us to experience their Mayan arts and culture, coffee and chocolate, and street markets. The trip finishes with 3 days in colonial Antigua, a UNESCO World Heritage Site with architecture dating back to 1543.
