Kenya Safari -Masai Mara and Lake Nakuru National Park with Claudia Daniels

Go on Safari with Claudia and Paulo! After a relaxing night in an elegant hotel in Nairobi, we will visit Lake Naivasha, a freshwater lake – part of the Great Rift Valley. The lake shore is surrounded by old colonial houses, small villages of thatch and clay houses and flower farms. We will embark on an hour long boat ride where we can encounter fish eagles, ospreys, cormorants, hippos, zebras, giraffes and more. After this scenic stop we will continue to Lake Nakuru National Park, the home of millions of flamingos that dot the shores of the lake pink. The park is the home of the White and Black Rhinos together with the endangered Rothschild Giraffe, over 400 bird species, buffaloes, waterbucks, lions, impalas and more. From Lake Nakuru we will move on to the world famous Masai Mara National Reserve. The Masai Mara extends all the way to the neighboring Serengeti Reserve in Tanzania. It is known for the “Big Five” (African elephant, lion, leopard, Cape buffalo, and rhinoceros). At the reserve we will have a morning and afternoon game drive to view the amazing animals up close.

What makes this safari different from others? This tour will be limited to 5 guests only, individual attention by two experienced guides is guaranteed. We will travel in a specialty safari vehicle, which allows for maximum viewing capacity. We will not have any weight luggage restrictions- so feel free to bring your big lens! Our accommodations are in the luxury category- so roughing it won’t be an issue on this tour! We will not only photograph and view wildlife but we will also concentrate on our natural surroundings, landscapes, sunrises and sunsets as well as cultural aspects . You don’t have to be a master photographer to enjoy this tour, we welcome all aspects of photography, even a cell-phone can capture fabulous images of wildlife and nature.
