Details: Join Tom and Cree Bol for a magical summer workshop in Iceland. This is the perfect combination of wildlife and landscape photography. We are headed to Grimsey Island to photograph the Atlantic Puffin. We have timed this workshop to hit prime time for photos of puffin catching small fish for their young. We also spend time photographing Icelandic horses on a remote farm.
We will use the endless soft light in July to explore the Highlands of Iceland, one of Europe’s largest unpopulated areas. It is full of glaciers, volcanoes, amazing waterfalls and hot springs. Some of the waterfalls we will photograph include: Hraunfossar, Bamafossar, Haifoss, Gjain, Thojofafoss and Seljalandfoss. Plan to bring your ND filters and try creative techniques to capture some of the world’s most scenic falls.
What you will learn:
How to photograph puffins and other seabirds
How to photograph waterfalls using ND filters and natural light
Photograph Icelandic horses
