Our whale expedition’s Humpback Whales of Tonga photo tour will bring you up close and personal with these majestic whales as they come to Tonga to give birth and breed. You will have the chance to photograph mothers and calves as they spend time in the tropical waters, waiting for the calf to grow large enough to migrate south. You may also have the opportunity to photograph and experience heat runs, escort whales, singers, and other species of passing cetacean. With only four people allowed in the water at any one time, encounters with these whales are incredibly intimate. The often curious humpback calves may even come check you out!
