This Prairie Chicken Photography Fun workshop takes place in eastern Colorado and includes three mornings and possibly three evenings photographing from a photo blind (provided), personal photographic instruction and attention, an educational meet & greet, small instructor to student ratio and a leader with years of photographic experience. We’ll concentrate on greater prairie chickens with the chance of additional Great Plains species and habitat.
This workshop is designed for all levels of photo enthusiasts. An understanding of basic photography principles is highly recommended. At our first meeting, we’ll discuss the challenges photographing these birds, their behavior, best gear to get the job done and camera settings to secure your success.
Get ready for fast action and unique behavior! If you have specific questions about the workshop, photography techniques, gear recommendations or the schedule, feel free to let me know!
