From the Grand to the Intimate: Photographing Along The Oregon Coast

The Oregon coast offers a wealth of photography opportunities if you know when to go, where to look, and use your imagination to capitalize on the available conditions. Join Brenda Tharp and Jed Manwaring as they share their insights on photographing along the Oregon coast and offer a sneak peek at their upcoming May photo tour to one of their favorite parts – the Bandon Beach area. This NANPA photo tour is scheduled to take advantage of very low tides during morning hours, as well as the changeable spring weather, both of which expand the photo possibilities.
This webinar will cover key concepts that Brenda and Jed feel can help you create stronger documentary photographs and take it to the next level in creating more expressive nature photographs. They will discuss how to work with the various types of light you’ll find in the coastal environment, advanced ideas of composition, seeing vs. looking, visual depth, the grand and the intimate landscape, utilizing nature’s design, creating abstracts, and various techniques to create impressionistic images.
