Bosque del Apache & White Sands: New Mexico with John Slonina

World famous Bosque del Apache offers unique bird and wildlife photography opportunities. Photograph thousands of sandhill cranes and snow geese as they flock to the fields and marshes. The Sandhill Crane count is around 12,000. Add to that an impressive tally of 70,000 snow geese, 40,000-plus ducks (at least 14 species), Canada geese, Gambel’s quail, roadrunners, bald eagles and more than 300 other winged species. We will also visit White Sands National Park where you will experience the photogenic white dunes.

Transportation is included from hotel to and from the field locations. There is a free shuttle to and from the hotel to Albuquerque Airport if you fly in. I will drop people off at the airport on the last day.
