Autumn in Slovenia/Croatia with Brenda Tharp

Embark on an unforgettable journey into Slovenia and Croatia on this instructional photography tour, timed for peak color change. The small country of Slovenia, tucked away in central Europe, boasts some of the most beautiful mountain landscapes, forests, pure-flowing rivers, and lakes. Add to that the stunning Plitvice Lakes region in Croatia and this is a trip not to be missed!
We’ll explore Lake Bled and its iconic church on Bled island, tranquil Lake Bohinj, Vrsic Pass, Triglav National Park, and the flowing rivers and waterfalls at Soča river valley. In between we’ll stop to photograph some of Slovenia’s most picturesque hilltop churches, traditional hayracks and document a slower pace of life. After Slovenia, we’ll drive to Croatia and the stunning Plitvice Lakes, a UNESCO world heritage site that is abundant with lakes, waterfalls, and caves, all set amidst lovely Autumn color. You will leave with memory cards and your heart full!

This will be Brenda’s fourth trip and we can’t wait to share the magic with you! We will work alongside you, and be always available to answer any questions and help you make the best image you can at any given moment.
