ALL INCLUSIVE FALL CADDO LAKE 2025 PHOTO WORKSHOP

Experience the beauty of one of the largest Bald Cypress swamps during the peak of fall color during this multi-day photography workshop with Angie Birmingham. Caddo Lake is a truly unique photography destination. Bald cypress trees draped with Spanish moss tower over the maze of bayous, sloughs, lakes, and ponds known as Caddo Lake and Big Cypress Bayou. The workshop will include 4-6 boat tours (sunrise-sunset) photography tours on our chartered and now even larger pontoon boat, with plenty of room to set up tripods if you want to for photography.
The workshop fee per session will be $4595 per photographer.
The $1000 payment is due upon booking.
Non-photographers are welcome to join us on our midday and non-boating activities. non-photographer fee is $995 Please reach out to me to pay this fee; it covers the food and lodging.
What does the package include?
Lodging I have a 4-bedroom Airbnb on the water where the boat will pick us up and three very comfortable cottages about 400–500 yards away.
Your workshop fees include:
Brunch after morning tour (late breakfast or early lunch)
Plenty of water, coffee, tea and snacks
Home-cooked dinners each night will be ready shortly after the evening tour.
Full instructions (if requested) and location guide.
Kayak rentals are included with lodging, unless you rent from Johnson’s Ranch.
We have reserved chartered boat tours for both mornings and evenings, subject to weather conditions. If we can not go out on the boat, we will visit several public locations along the lake to capture some landscapes; however, our primary goal is to take the boat into the swamp for some once-in-a-lifetime shots. The best way to photograph Caddo Lake is from a boat, as the majority of the shoreline is under private ownership.
What’s not included?
Transportation to and from the workshop, alcohol, incidental expenses, gratuities for the boat guide—they greatly appreciate it—and items of a personal nature are not included.
