Alaska Aurora and Wilderness Adventure with Carl Johnson

Explore the best that Alaska has to offer in the winter with this photographic adventure that combines landscape and aurora photography with outdoor adventure photography. The itinerary includes one night in Talkeetna and four nights at a remote wilderness lodge in the Alaskan Range. The meeting city is Anchorage, Alaska.

Photo subjects and instruction will include mountain landscapes, aurora borealis, and dog mushing. There will be a combination of field and classroom instruction. Each participant will be able to drive both the dog teams and snowmobiles during the trip. Accommodations include a newly-constructed, beautiful wood lodge facility and catered meals. Potential for overnight wilderness stay in heated tents.
