Summer Wildflowers in the Rocky Mountains
July 6-10, 2013 : When we think of carpets of spring wildflowers and mountain vistas, the Smokey Mountains come to mind but when you think of summer wildflowers and mountain vistas, the Rocky Mountains come to mind. There is no better place than Crested Butte, Colorado to celebrate the beauty of summer wildflowers and spectacular grand vistas. Crested Butte is the official Wildflower Capital of Colorado and we will be there for part of the Wildflower Festival that is July 8-14. In July, the mountains come alive with the most colorful and splendid wildflowers. Imagine wildflowers with the Rocky Mountains as a backdrop... breathtaking! Participants will capture not only wildflowers, but spectacular sunrises and sunsets, gorgeous mountain vistas, the allure of the proud standing aspens of Kebler Pass and the charm of the unique and historic town of Crested Butte. If you arrive early, Crested Butte has the best ever
    Fourth of July parade!

We hope you join us for a fun-filled photo tour experiencing the explosion of color in the Rocky Mountains! On this photo tour you will have many opportunities to capture Wow shots and enjoy a great time and delicious food at this mountain resort.

This workshop is for beginner and intermediate level photographers.

    Adirondack High Peaks
July 12-14, 2013 : The Adirondacks offers true wilderness territory where off the beaten track is often an understatement. We'll try for the best of both worlds because many sites can be accessed after brief walks, others require short hikes and still others will give us the opportunity to reach deep into Adirondack backcountry. We'll photograph the high peaks (depending on our crew, perhaps from the high peaks), mountain streams, and waterfalls literally miles from civilization. In between, we should have plenty of opportunity to train our lenses on quaint and rustic Adirondack villages. As with all my tour/workshops, this Adirondack photo trek is designed to accommodate beginner and intermediate photographers looking for one-on-one instruction and the opportunity to expand their portfolios with dramatic mountain landscapes. Even advance amateur and professional photographers will appreciate the time-saving benefit of being guided to the right locales at the right time.
