Most of us know people who give their time selflessly. Now’s your chance to recognize fellow NANPA members by nominating them for one of NANPA’s service awards. Membership organizations like NANPA depend on the contributions of volunteers. Their time, talents, and efforts have a big impact on the vitality and success of NANPA, from the work they do in committees to the hours they’ll devote to helping at the Nature Photography Summit next year in Tucson. While we always appreciate their service, NANPA also recognizes members who’ve gone above and beyond with NANPA’s Mission Award and the Kinne Legacy Award. Nominations for both are being accepted now through May 31st.
NANPA Mission Award
This award “recognizes outstanding efforts or accomplishment(s) by one of our members. This award exemplifies what NANPA is really all about, and the recipient should epitomize NANPA’s principles in accordance with NANPA’s mission statement.” Nominees should have used their photography in ways that also foster principles such as promoting excellence, ethics, and responsible photography in the wild; providing education, inspiration, information, and opportunity in nature photography for all; and promoting the art and science of nature photography.
